Well, I told my crush I liked him about 3-4 months ago, and we texted almost until 12:00 Am(being we only know each other online)! I only knew him for about a week at the time, and he really isn't very talkative, so I could tell he wanted to be friends. I'm really happy to say we are close with each other now!
