I was a semi-drunk 16 year old at a nighttime outdoor kegger. I and 2 other guys climbed halfway up one of those really tall power line towers. From up there we could see from a great distance that police were coming our way. We climbed down (instead of further up, as we might have), warned others. got to our car, and drove off ahead of the crack-down. Adrenaline really sobered us up quick. We called it a night and got home safe. I was young and stupid. I don’t condone my behavior. But this is about when we could’ve died.
Not my story but a friend’s. She almost died because she ran in front of a car. She doesn’t know why she did that though.
We were walking on these rocks that were a few hundred metres above a rapidly moving river and I almost slipped. There was also that time just recently when I almost decided to end it all but I stopped myself on time
