Also, some people just seem to randomly downvote anything they see? I've seen whole posts where at first almost every comment had gotten downvoted.

I've had to make three different accounts so far.

If down voting is intended to function as a "report" feature.. Its a terrible idea... I've always thought that a voting feature would serve to bump up the highly ranked stuff over the less so....however, one bad dad joke child get you banned. If it is a report feature.. Where are the warnings or simple line under the buttons clarifying their purpose.

I'm 100% on this that it needs fixing. If you don't like or agree with a comment just scroll on by and carry on with your life. Same with anything offensive. There's a big difference between something that offends you and something being offensive. The former doesn't automatically mean it's also the latter.....as Ricky Gervais said "Just because you're offended, doesn't mean you're right"

BP could be like Ranker - which encourages you to vote up or down on literally everything - its fun to up & downvote there and no one gets suspended

I agree 100% with this. Censorship is not cool in any shape or form. I found it ironic that BoredPanda censors silly words like d**k and twat, yet posted one of the most sexually explicit posts about incels being horrible to woman that I think I ever read on a site that is supposed to be"family friendly."

I don't see the censorship changing, as it is driven by the advertisers. They are the ones bringing in money for BP, if I'm understanding correctly, and they stipulate the censorship parameters.

This assumes that there are 'admins' that are a available for recourse etc. I've never seen one.... the whole lazy attitude to moderation seems to be 'well if enough people disagree with something someone is saying, then the algorithm bans them' If actual admins do exist then they're very very silent... and don't seem to answer any appeals for common sense.

I don't have too much issue with reducing thread size, but I do wish the notifications would automatically show all submissions if your comment is below the cutoff. Formatting and 100 upvote notification I am with you on.

Perhaps the app doesn't have an editing feature? I used to have the app but unless your fingers can scroll prefect up or down... It flips to the right or left for next page and going back would take you straight to the top of the list.

Exactly. So annoying! I have 14 replies on a post once and had to do the load more shuffle over and over and over. So annoying. At least give it some time, like a week from the post before truncating it. I think if they want to keep this then just add a section in our profile to SEE the comments on our posts. Like... in the profile now we can see all of our comments. Maybe another section to see replies.

At the very least, please create a setting so that each user can select the option to see all posts for each article, and another setting to follow links to replies to their posts, whether or not the cutoff is enabled.

At least the ads now seem to be from a more reputable source. I used to not dare visit the site without an ad blocker enabled as they were full of popups that exploded all over the screen.

Ads themselves aren't the problem!!! Panda's excessive pop-ups & ads that block most of the content while bouncing up & down and autoplaying is what's making me leave. Enjoy the easy lite scrolling, but making me fight to see any actual content? Utter, willful greedy f#©k!ng stupid on steroids. Like burning down your own house to keep warm effwit stupidity.

they don't show up automatically but you can see more replies if you click the "reply" button of the furthest nested one. at least on the app, not sure about desktop

I am camra shy with strangers and I wouldn't be able to do it because my phone can't handle it and my Xbox is just not good with mic
