Something I think people need to be aware of is the sinking of the Wilhelm Gustloff in World War 2. Is claimed more lives than famous disasters like the Titanic and the Lusitania. 9,000 out of the 10,000 passengers dies. The ship was carrying refugees from places like East Prussia, Lithuania (I think) Germany and Poland. The ship was only built to carry 1,500 people. There should have been 22 lifeboats but 10 were missing. It was sunk by 3 Soviet torpedoes.
Then why haven't I heard of this before now?
