Speaking to other people, whether it be in person or in an online meeting. I like to text people instead, because it gives me more time to process what I’m going to say, if that makes any sense. Sometimes I even script conversation starters and what I might say next.

drawing is my passion and i still end up zoning out or daydreaming instead of doing it, or even when talking with my friends, it's not even a question of if i like the thing or not, i just pop out mentally without intending to. No, they're usually considered non-themed neopronouns even if some use them for their relation to faerie. I like them because they're whimsical (don't know how that's spelled oh well) and they feel right, but they also feel somewhat feminine without being a girl thing so i really like them for me because it feels appropriate to my perception of self. Not a faerie but i wish i was ksksksk and i don't date as i'm aromantic

With pills, use something like applesauce or pudding. Put a smallish amount that you can still swallow on a spoon, bury the pill, and eat the applesauce/pudding/whatever. Can't swallow it, still? Make the amount of food you put a lil smaller. If you find discomfort after you swallowed it, just drink some water. (I dealt with this for a while too so I'm trying to help :) )

I used to dread folding fitted sheets, too. Then saw a segment on an old Martha Stewart show, how simple it was to fold a fitted sheet. The corners ( with the elastic bits ) become 'pockets' that you put your hands into. How do I describe this? Turn the sheet inside out, simple enough, then put one hand in one 'pocket' one hand in other pocket, then bring your hands together in front of you ( while holding sheet with hands inside ) put one hand over the other, voila, the sheet becomes connected. Then you can shape it so it looks just like an unfitted sheet ( rectangle ) . It never comes out perfect, but it only takes a few seconds to do. Maybe there's a youtube tutorial to help. Another idea that may help, fold it as best you can, then put it inside the folds of the flat sheet. Keep the 2 sheets together, flattened out. Saves space, looks fine.

I can't change a tire. I have been shown many times but I just can't get it. I struggle to get the jack in the right place. I always worry that I have it wrong and that I will damage the car. I also need someone to get the lug nuts off. I usually just call AAA.

    Andrew Keir
    Community Member
1 year ago Created by potrace 1.15, written by Peter Selinger 2001-2017

Placing the jack is, indeed, a problem - mostly because I guarantee that the bit of road you need to put it on won't be level ... for the lug nuts, (a) make sure the garage greases them when they're put on, and (b) maybe get a torque multiplier (it's a small gearbox that fits between your torque wrench and the lug nuts). To improve your confidence, find a friendly garage worker, gift them a bottle of something suitable, and get them to show you how they change a tire. Then get them to watch and comment while you change two more. Then teach your S.O. by showing them as you change the fourth ... AAA is a good resource if traffic is passing your vehicle fast and close, especially as they're really good at parking their truck to prevent traffic from endangering you or them.
