I need to find ways to cope with my anxiety, so I would love to hear your ways.

music. I love music and my mood can change because of the song that is playing. if it a happy song, sad song, angry song, or just a neutral song my mood will change to match the song. i feel like if I didn't have music I would be a mess lol

Reading. If I can’t handle reading I turn to animals! Take a walk with my neighbours dogs or just cuddle with them

This is for my depression. Music definitely helps me a lot. I like loud songs with lots of background noise, it helps quiet the voices in my head. Also if you struggle with self-harm I have some things that might help you, so just let me know!
And for my anxiety I text people that I care about and just talk to them, they help get my mind off the thing that's making me anxious. Also drawing! I draw a LOT because I'm anxious. It's super easy to get your feelings down in pictures because feeling is abstract and so you can express it in an abstract way. I find that it's easiest to express my feelings through pictures instead of trying to find the words to express them. I really hope this helps! Lots of love and support from me!

I like to smell things. Things like foods I like, scented candles, perfums, body sprays or lotions. It comforts me

I find writing down/keeping a journal on how you feel can help, you don't have to show it to any body.

Twenty one pilots. I’ve been listening to them since 2015, but up until 2019 it was mostly because my mom liked them. It was only when I was going through a very difficult time in my life when I actually started understanding their music, and I felt so heard. They have songs for nearly any matter. Having anxiety? Intrusive thoughts? Listen to Car Radio (or stressed out, if you really wanted to, I suppose). Afraid of love? Air catcher is the song for you. Scared a loved one is struggling? I recommend Lovely! Worried about growing old? House of Gold! Existential crisis? Neon Gravestones and Kitchen Sink! Struggles with faith? Trees, The Judge, Addict With a Pen, March to the Sea (and probably many others)! Someone you love has a disability? Ruby! Craving Taco Bell? Taco Bell Saga and Yo Queiro Taco Bell are ✨perfect✨. Tøp appeals to many audiences because of their wide range of genres (pop, indie rock, reggae, piano ballads, funk, hip hop, electronic, ukulele, dubstep, rap, basically anything you can imagine, they got it. Most fans affectionately refer to them as Schizoid Pop, though that may be offensive so I’ve dubbed them tøp-hop). They are the first band ever to see gold or multi-platinum on every song for TWO of their records (Vessel and Blurryface, and they’re in the Guinness book of world records for that. Blurryface may have been their breakthrough album, but Vessel got em going). Their newest song, Christmas Saves the Year, is the first holiday song on the top 40 since 2012. And now I’m gushing about them. But they have awesome songs and they helped me a lot, so if you’re struggling please listen to them.
