For me, it's when someone answers the phone, usually at a business, or somewhere, and they've already said "hello", you start talking but a couple of words in they say "HI?" again as if they don't hear you but turns out they are hearing you just fine. And just interrupting in general. People tend to just assume what you're going to say but they may miss crucial words that might change the context of what you're meaning to say before they interrupted. Not just annoying, but over time continuously being cut off from your sentences affects your ability to speak without stuttering and expecting to get cut off.

This annoys me so much. It's like are you just really lazy or passive aggressively mad at me?

1) When people talk about abortion and I have a different view and they are mad at me for having an opinion of my own.
2) people on their phones while I talk to them
3) just PEOPLE sometimes

It’s so dumb that this bothers me, but in the last couple of years I’ve noticed that instead of emphasizing a word or sentiment like, for instance, “I looooove it!”, they’ll put a bunch of “eeee”s on the end. “I loveeee it!” Which I can only read as “Love-eeee!.” I haaaate it.

Social media is essential to most kids growing up if they want to have a good social life. This has cons for both kids using and not using it. Kids using it can often get bullied or, at the worst, come into contact with online predators. On the other hand, kids who don't use it can feel less connected with people around them and won't understand some of the important events going on in the world.

It's a fine line to walk for sure. And as a parent, I agree with your assessment of both sides. My oldest is 9 and we haven't yet allowed her even her own phone. But she has a tablet (which I control) and plays Minecraft on the Xbox with a select number of friends. She's very extroverted, so getting through quarantine without either of those could've had some very negative consequences for her.

People, you went to school, why do you talk and write like idiots? It doesn't make you cool. It makes you look uneducated, ignorant and foolish. And I understand some people have trouble spelling, but they make dictionaries and spellchecker. USE THEM!

The general disregard in general for spelling, punctuation, Orr grammar. I don't expect 100% perfection, but at least try. I criticized someone once, and they said, "well, you understood what I meant, so who cares?". IT DOES MATTER PEOPLE!! Dumbing down is NOT a good thing!

People using to many abbreviations for thing that take an extra 2 seconds to type out and sometimes it takes more time to make the abbreviation than to just type the word

When you get left on read. My friend and I had this really long argument over text about a small thing and then I accidentally left her on read. She was so mad. But honestly, it’s so frustrating, especially if you asked a question. Even when you know they’ll answer soon. We both agreed not to leave each other on read anymore :)

Just remember that some people legitimately don't know what to say and might be seriously overthinking whatever you sent them. I am speaking from personal experience.

Forcing their words/opinions/thoughts onto everyone and if someone disagrees, regards them as a horrible individual. No longer are people allowed to have their own thoughts and opinions. No longer is there “Freedom of Speech”

Everyone is entitled to an opinion even if it goes against the grain. (Not all opinions should be voiced though) And sometimes you have to agree to disagree & move on.

The complete lack of punctuation. Sometimes I am out of breath by the time I finish reading a typed sentence, because there are not indicators of a pause or a new sentence.

OMG I know this one girl at work who would type an entire email that should have been multiple paragraphs but it was only one and she didn’t use capital letters or punctuation to indicate the start or end of a sentence and she would get so mad when people didn’t understand the true context and meaning nor get her point at all and it was really irritating and she would get super mad when I told her that it made her come across as ignorant and uneducated. 😉

no one knows how to use the phone anymore. it's all texting or 'chat' for businesses. and when people text they don't spell the word properly. why have auto correct if you say things like 'Y R U..'

Texting someone 'You up?' way past midnight. What did you expect to happen? Most people are asleep during that time and have to go to work or school that same day.

When I am super busy at work and by myself at the reference desk, people want to call and ask people to check to see if we have multiple (more than 5) titles of books. They get mad if I cut them off at 3 books and tell them I am working by myself. Come on, people, be considerate. Check the online catalog!
