Always wondered what kind of people they are in real life.

My friend's pretty famous among certain groups. Feels great, proud of him.

I had a couple of friends who were famous when I was younger but we fell out of touch.

They were just regular guys, fun to hang out with. It was a bit annoying at times when you would be out having a beer or something and people would come up for an autograph mid-conversation. They were always really cool about it and had a quick chat with their fans and they never complained. I did (to them). But they didn't! lol

My best friend of 35 years is married to the guitarist from Descendents, which is a punk band. They're BIG in the world of punk and it's funny when I look at his social media and see people kind of fan-girling (boying? personing?) over him. To me, he's just my friend Stephen - a super-nice guy, amazing husband and father, kind of a nerd, goes gaga over their dog, brings us tea when we're hanging out, stuff like that. I've seen the band play a few times and it's like seeing a whole different side of him - Stephen the punk rocker! LOL!

So cool! Great to hear that people still find a way to stay nice and kind even through the fame.

I had a friend who suddenly got caught up in fame. It was sad.
