Got it for free from a centerpiece at an event. Was crowded in with a few other plants some of witch died. The store probably put some stuff to make it bloom and it was roots were too big. Cut off the flowers and gave it a bigger pot and it grew so much! I wonder if it will flower again.
I wish I could keep plants alive! Plant-keeping is a noble hobby.
Try aloe, epipremnum or a ready made, closed bottle garden :-)
I love aloe! I'll give it a try :) thanks for the suggestion!
For growing aloe, and most other succulents and cacti: I recommend an unpainted terra cotta pot (they dry out quickly), cactus-specific soil, don't water until the soil is completely bone dry, and then absolutely drench it until water is pouring out the bottom. Dump out the tray so it's not sitting in water, and let it dry out again. Err on the side of not watering if you aren't sure if the soil is fully dry--if you don't water it enough it just won't grow as fast, if you water too much it will rot.
Love plants but I am an awful gardener. The pics here are simply beautiful.
