My neighbor and I rescue old musical instruments from the junkyard, or take "instrument portraits" for the owners of the instrument to frame and keep once the instrument can't be played anymore. All we ask for the "Instrument Portraits" is for the person to make a monetary donation to their local Elementary or High School music department to help fund music education. The cello in the top right corner was made in East Germany, which I think is cool because that country doesn’t exist anymore. We don’t know the exact year it was made but I’m guessing in the 60s or 70s

I own some 10 guitars (Strats, Les Paul, Jazz Bass, ES-335, Ibanez etc. and the rig, from pedalboard to amps and cabs), but my favourite is a kind of a Frankenstrat: a Kramer neck on a maple 80's Strat body. Great for blues and rock!
