when I was 9, my grandparents and my siblings were having a home church lesson as always, and I dont remember the question cuz this was 3 years ago. But I asked something about gays or trans people or something to see how they dealt with it cause I was planning on coming out to them soon. They said this, "There was this thing I saw on facebook, about an employee telling their boss they were transgender or something, and y'know what the boss said? use whichever bathroom you want! its just gross, I dont care if people choose to be any thing, but dont make it any of our business." And so I shut them out for that reason, I am no 12 years old and still am, did I overreact? AITA?
