I need help. How do I come out as lesbian to my dad? My mom already somehow knows and my little sister knows but in the past my dad has been a little homophobic before. Use this for an example: One time I was sitting on the couch with my little sister and she told me that she liked a girl and a guy, so jokingly I asked her if she was bisexual. (As a joke) Then I guess my dad overheard and said I shouldn't be talking about that stuff in front or to my sister because she has not learned about sex and that she has not had sex ed like me. Then we had this fight about "You don't need to know about sex to know about the LGBTQIA+ community." But he was really stubborn about it so I just said I disagree and left the room. That night my mom talked to him about that because she was also there, I don't really know what happened in that conversation but I don't think that really changed his mind. Another my family and I were talking about pronouns and everything, and I told my mom that Zey/Zem pronouns are a thing but she kind of refused to believe it, and then my dad stepped in and said "Let people believe what they want because I also think that those pronouns aren't a thing." And I went to sleep really mad that night. My family isn't religious or anything like that so I just kind of need advice.
