I was once on a game drive in Namibia. The guide made so many mistakes when telling us the names of the bucks and some other animals. (I know all the animals we saw that day quite well) The other tourist on the van just nodded, not knowing any better. Made me wonder how many tour guides, whether game drives, museums, or those city tours, jut make up anything they want, and we eat it all up.

Every time I see any bird I call it a seagull. Idk why, just always have. Also the birds that are called Grosbeaks i think, (pronounced gross-beaks) whenever I'm around my grandma I call them "very handsome beaks" and then tell my grandma to stop because she's insulting them. She keeps sending me pictures of the grosbeak page in her bird book and i said "even the book is mean."
