Probably not the type of answer you were looking for but an ex friend of mine became infamous in our county for being a notorious paedophile. We started hanging out when we were 14 and he was 23 - should've figured really. He's currently serving time for possessing indecent images and videos.

Richard Amitage (Thorin Oakenshield) was from the next village to me. He's a few years older than me. I was also involved in local youth theatre groups, and we were in a couple of productions together before he left the local school to go to a full performing arts school. I still have the programmes with both our names in as proof. I very much doubt he'd remember me though.

Yeah. A guy I knew in high school. Not famous but definitely infamous. He killed his girlfriend’s toddler while she was at work. He shook her and knocked her head against the coffee table because she was crying. He didn’t take her to the ER or anything. Her mom found her when she came home and called an ambulance. Little one was in a coma for a few days before she passed. It’s been 7 or 8 years and no one has forgotten. He still hasn’t been convicted. Moving court dates and dismissals keep happening. One of my husband’s cousins had been at their apartment a few days prior and the dude threw someone through the window. He definitely had major anger issues.
