What is something that you have watched someone do, or heard someone say, while they were on the job?

I once worked at a place where coworker had allegedly ran a stop sign and almost caused a wreck on their lunch break. They had some harsh words with the other driver but because my coworker was wearing a branded shirt of the place we worked at the other car came by to complain to the managers but instead got into a screaming match with the coworker instead. This was in front of customers and then devolved into threats of gunfire (yes the US). It was only diffused when the company threatened to call the cops on both of them. The employee was not disciplined because of nepotism.

Close second: at a used car lot customer bought a cheaper car with no warranty and it broke down when the customers were leaving the lot after the sale while still in the lot. The sales manager not only did not help them with it, they threatened to have it towed if the customers did not remove it from the property by the end of the day.

Some people have NO moral compass!

Other than the office politics shitshows I've endured at pretty much every job I've had, my ex takes the cake how he handles his job. I'm gobsmacked he still works for this company.
He was the first person to get slapped with a fine for driving high, while driving a company truck on the clock, in my city, minutes after legalization of weed went into effect.
He drives like a maniac around town. Mouths off to customers.
Going by customer reviews, one person quoted how one of the drivers spoke to him, and it sounded just like how my ex talks to people he's mad at.

Bought a dress from an online shop, paid online via debit card. Shortly, I received a call from the shop. The lady informed me that the dress was actually not available (although listed as "available, 2-3 days delivery" on their site) and that there was a waiting list for it. So, I'd have to wait for 3-4 weeks to get it (this was not mentioned on their website). She stressed out that the dress would be sent to another client if I was not available on the day of the delivery, because they couldn't keep the item for me for an additional day.

"?!?..What do you mean, you cannot keep it for me? I already PAID for it!!"

"Well... we'll make an exception in your case. But for the future, remember that we don't book an item for you just because you paid for it!" 😳

The level of rudeness and arrogance stunned me. I reported the shop to the authorities for incorrect commercial practice. (According to the local law, they cannot list an item as available if it's not available.)

I never bought for them again - although most of their items are nice, good quality and fit my style. I left a review on their site describing the experience (which they deleted 😄) Oh, and I returned the dress, it was way too large and not as nice as shown in the photos.

Had a client tell me once that:

“[unspecified regulatory agency] can be real [male reproductive organs], they can even be worse than you!”

I vanished for a month (last October) because I had cut myself and reported it to my school therapist, who then called the police, who then called the SAFE team. I sat in the ward for five days in fear of being hurt or smothered by other patients. I hate talking about my feelings because I never wanna go back. I then got enrolled in classes about mental health (called the STEP program, check it out) for 4-6 weeks.

apparently, my English teacher did not give a s**t about my mental health. he wanted me to make everything up, and when I asked for the resources, he said he didn't have them. I had to reach out to several friends for the resources, which took a bit because they had either all thrown them away or had lost them in their folders. I loathed going to his class, and then one day I just snapped and sent him an email detailing all the stuff I went through to pass the class with a C for the first semester. he emailed me back, very poorly defending himself and his actions, and brought the SCHOOL ADMINS INTO IT.

    i changed classes :3
