Voluntarily or for lack of social relationships, in your case? For me, it's a semi tradition... and it's also part of my learning to set boundaries for myself. Not doing stuff I don't want to be doing, at least not today.

Voluntarily because I am too old to spend this day with parents and family (I fell little weird, they have their themas to talk, you know), for lack of social relationships, becauce I never had friends for spending New Years time. Of course, I have friends, but usualy I don't meet they this special days.
