I have one dog named Evie, but I also have a fear of dogs, so I am a cat person.
Cats, used to be both but a dog attacked me a few years back
Dog person. I do have a bad cat allergy. It's pretty severe, not quite anaphylactic shock bad, but very nearly. But I'm allergic to dogs, too (admittedly not as badly). And I'm allergic to the dust that dogs' fur carries. So I take my Claritin, because I'm a much happier person with my furry little (or big) moon orbiting around me. Cats are too independent for my needs.
This is ironic, though, given that my current dog is very independent and, at the same time, needy! Oops, gotta go feed him!
Dog person. I am extremely allergic to cats. But my bestie loves cats. Has two. Last time i stayed over she woke me up with a cat to the face and i almost died. Forgot to mention that I couldn't be around them until i had taken medication. Ruined my experience with cats. I kinda hate them now.
