So basically I have two friends A and B. I had told both of them about something that happened the day before and stuff, and they knew I wasn't really in a good place mentally that day. I have a lot of my classes with friend A so I tried to sort of talk out my problems with them, but they sort of just dismissed them and started talking about how their life was 'so hard' and other 'problems' that they have instead of really listening to me. I kinda needed someone to listen to me, so I was feeling kinda bad after this. So it was time for the lunch break, and I felt kinda sad because everyone was sort of having their own conversations while I was just sitting there by myself so I decided to just slip away. Anyway, friend A followed me and I was like "I kinda want to be alone now" and so they went away, but they came back and I was kind of annoyed and sort of on autopilot because I was thinking a lot so I just mindlessly kinda said, "p*ss off". They got mad at me and said that they got I was feeling bad but they pretty much scolded me and then they cried. I feel really guilty. AITA?

Piss off is polite. They feel rejected because they are immature.
