Hey LGBTQIA Pandas, If You’re Religious, Which Religion Do You Practice? (Closed)
I'm particularly interested in folks who follow the religions that are based on Abraham: Judaism, Islam, and Christianity. And I'm really interested in hearing from Roman Catholics.

I'm starting to think I might be asexual (not aromantic though) and I'm a Christian.

"Christian" is pretty broad. I don't think any denomination of Christianity would have a problem with asexuality, unless they were insistent on you giving birth. Do you experience any negative reactions from the members of your church?
Oh, I haven't exactly come out yet. I'm still figuring out whether I really am or not. But, the people around me would almost certainly be accepting of it, so once I figure it out I think it'll be okay.

I don’t follow a religion because 99% of religions are LGBTQIA discriminating
I mean, that's true for the general group, but I know a ton of Christian people who don't discriminate against LGBTQIA. I'm not trying to convince you to join a religion, but I'm just letting you know that there are plenty accepting Christians.
Load More Replies...I was Christian for most of my life, I'm now non-religious, and want to tell you that Christianity is one of the least accepting religions of LGBTQ+ people from what I know. My mum and dad are convinced that God said being LGBTQ+ is wrong, and so is ever other Christian I've met. They believe the Bible has not been edited at all, and it's all true, even though many people have put in their thoughts. I don't believe that God Himself would spread hate against people he created. I advise not to listen to people like this, if you follow this religion or are thinking of doing so.
Thank you! God said so many times that he loves all of his children, so when people say he'll banish them to hell, they're wrong. Also, in the original translation of the bible he actually says no grown men should be sleeping with boys. That's him saying pedophilia is bad, not homosexuality
I'm Trans (ftm) and gay. I am also Jewish. I attend synagogue twice a week. My rabbi is aware of me liking men and is okay with it. Some people at my synagogue are rude but I bush it off. God made everyone in their eye, so I believe God loves everyone regardless of gender race background ECT.
Good on you for being open about this it takes courage which you definitely have (also your rabbi seems cool)
