When I came out as gay, I was anxious about telling my dad, but he accepted me and that means a lot to me. I’ve tried coming out as trans twice but my mom says that it’s a phase, and she told me that I can’t use He/Him pronouns instead I should use They/Them, I hate the old me, the version of me that I want to forget about. Although luckily my parents accept me because I’m gay. I told my friend Corinne that I was trans and they accepted me for who I truly am and I’m grateful for that. I have awesome friends. I can’t live a lie, I can’t let my mother tell me that I’m just going through a phase. I haven’t been rebellious yet but I’m feeling rebellious against my mom.
