Heidi Klum has always slain the fashion world, whether she is walking the runway or judging the clothes on it, however her most memorable looks haven’t taken place on the catwalk but at her iconic Halloween parties.
Earning the unofficial title as Queen of Halloween, Klum uses her annual Halloween soiree to unveil looks so extravagant, most people can’t even recognize her. From 95-year-old Heidi to the werewolf in Michael Jackson’s Thriller video, the German supermodel takes the holiday to another level. Last year, for example, she started getting ready for the occasion as early as June.
“I have to because I never want to be recognizable because I feel like I always make the biggest party and so I want people to dream and also encourage themselves to be a little more out there with their own costumes,” Klum told Us Weekly.

Honestly? I've seen some better home made costumes on bored panda. She just hires people to do the job for her, 93yo Heidi is the only truly original idea and a very clever one.
No, it's not homemade, but that's not the point. The point is that she actually loves Halloween and it's so refreshing to see a former model not afraid to look «ugly» or not always choosing the sexy version of a costume.
There are other original and clever ones, but it’s true that she just hires people to make expensive costumes. That’s okay though. She’s rich so naturally she’s going to have that. I agree that some of them are uninspired.
She is sooooo annoying! And first of all she isn't at all a supermodel. These are Women like Linda Evangelista, Pavlina Porizkova, Eva Herzigova, Kate Moss aso.
And don't forget that she is German, where Halloween is not even a thing. When she was a Child, she probably never even heard of it. It is a relative new concept here. Older people, especially in southern Germany even hate it.
Mimis: Karneval is NOT Halloween! Karneval is not scary and there are no children going from door to door. And they certainly don't decorate their houses. Not in any way!

Oh my... Quite the opposite! Check out the Rheinische Karneval (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carnival#%22Rheinische%22_Carnival_(Fasnacht,_Fasnet,_Fastabend,_Fastelovend,_Fasteleer,_Fasching)). Heidi Klum comes from the motherland of weird and funny costumes. She grew up with that. It is a thousand years old catholic tradition...
Well it didn't say "homemade costume"
I did like the "forbidden fruit" idea (apple+snake); the "golden alien" like this year is a bit of a mishmash of random bits stacked together... at least "golden alien" was cheap, this is a painful misfire.
You are completely right. Who does she think she is? How dare she use her money to entertain us all on Halloween. How selfish.

Yes. Because being old is as horrible as being a monster.
Heide Klum is indeed the queen of spending enormous amounts of money for a team of experts to create her Halloween costumes.
So basically the same as a movie set? Hours of make up and prosthetics by professionals?
