These are some pages from a webcomic series that I'm currently working on. I believe that we can learn a great deal from these kinds of stories. "A Mouthful of Silence", a compilation of heart-warming stories that give voice to the voiceless. Awareness for all that these stories may exist to some.

This one is just tragic, and shows the bitter sweet side of life.

This one hits me hard. I have to stay up most nights listening to my parents yelling at each other till one of them goes to the bar.

Sadly this has played out for many families, our brave men and women in uniform really do sacrifice so much.

lost my dad 4 years ago from cancer... we live far apart from each other, 1,00km apart to be exact.. during his last days, i went back home to visit him every weekend.. i was not earning much, but enough to buy flight ticket.. one night, in around 3 am.. he woke me up.. i was surprised as, he would not recognize us most of the time due to his medication.. i came to him asking why he woke me up.. he said " i just wanna talk to you, I'm bored".. i took a chair and sat next to him.. we chatter for like 15 minutes, when he felt asleep mid conversation. he passed away 2 weeks after that...

And he did pursue his passion! He’s the painter that’s higher up!

This is the one I totally disagree with. There is a famous war poem from WW1 in which a soldier talks about watching a man dying in agony from gas on the back of a wagon. He says that if you could see the pain and agony of his death you would not lie to young men and say "Dulce et decorum est Pro patria mori." which means there is honour in dying for your country.
