On behalf of my fellow citizens 🇺🇸 who are splitting hairs between "automatic" and "semi automatic" GUNS, I apologize. They know damn well that most semi-automatic GUNS can be converted to AUTOMATIC guns without too much difficulty. Their gaslighting isn't appreciated. GUNS are a problem in the USA, and the people who FETISHIZE guns are the bigger problem.

I think this is a myth that we've been spoon fed so that we stop trying to make government work for us? In reality, systems are not people regardless of what the supreme court believes. They are by definition heartless. But politicians are afraid of voters, but only the ones who vote, and call their offices. If i go to a protest, it gets media attention, but politicians can write that off, those aren't my constituents, they don't matter. But, if you call your representative, it really does make them consider their actions. When voting on a bill, if they hear nothing, they look at their own financial interest, if they get more calls for vs against, it's in their interest to do what their voters want, as it's so rare to hear from them. It was phone calls like these that saved Obama Care. Call your reps about things you care about. Make it clear that your vote is contingent about which way they go. Then actually vote. You still may lose, but maybe not

It's not polite to start a conversation in your native language when you're responding to an English spoken website (and yes, I'm Dutch so I know what you mean). That being said, you point out a few things that toch different layers in society. The benefits affair is a completely different thing than the nitrogen policy and the institutional racism. In the first one they really f*cked up, in the second one they could do so much better if they would just stop with all the proven bad ideas instead of pumping more money into something that doesn't work. The racisme part has many layers in it. What bothers me is the fact that there are so many people claiming so many things, that the real issues are overlooked. Not getting into that for now, people can look it up on the internet and base their own opinion. Me, living in Spain as a Dutch person, I can only say that if you adapt and make an effort, you'll be accepted and treated well.

Hoping it was not using spellcheck that had you spell college “collage” which are two different things, especially since you said you went to one. Also, any money you receive is coming from people who had to give up their money so you could have it. Governments do not make money out of thin air, although it seems that way at times.

Between heakth care and taxes ( federal, state, local, sales, property, that $10 tax you have in PA just for having a job ) , people in USA, pay on average MORE than other countries and receive less services.

well in the US you give up 20%-30% in taxes i i get no medical, no dental, no paid sick leave, no maternity leave, have to pay out the a**e for collage, no child care, no support when unemployed long term and the list goes on and on what value does all that add up to? way more than an extra 15% in taxes some people who never have a serious illness might save but most wont and ur taking the chance of getting wiped out with medical bills so you go girl

Fined for not looking or smelling good enough to be employable? That sounds like a person not making the effort to look and smell representable when going for an interview... I was never a model looks-wise, but I always found a job because I know that representation just counts. I do agree though where it comes to the Dutch homeless people. All the efforts that are made to prevent the people seeking asylum in that small country from having to sleep outside or in overcrowded centers and putting them on adapted cruiseships is a good thing , bad thing is that the Government didn't think of that for their own homeless people in need. What I also think is very shite, is the fact that they cannot offer so those asylum seekers a future, as there is no adequate housing, no schooling, no help. For the Dutch costs of living are going through the roof where on the other hand all those thousands coming in, add next to nothing except for a few exceptions to help build up the country their in.
