Gypsy Rose Blanchard Gets Matching Tattoo With Ex-Fiancé Ken Urker Days After Split With Husband
Gypsy Rose Blanchard, known for her infamous murder case, reconnected with her ex-fiancé, Ken Urker, following her recent announcement of her separation from her husband, Ryan Scott Anderson.
Following her recent split with Ryan, Gypsy was seen spending time with Ken, and the pair had lunch together and even reportedly got matching tattoos at a parlor owned by Bobby Pitre, who is also Gypsy’s cousin.
The rekindling of their relationship was more about support than a romantic reconciliation, Ken’s mother said.
“They are not back together,” Ken’s mother, Raina Williams, told People.

“They’re very cool. Ken is just being a supportive friend to her and that’s it,” Raina told the outlet.
Gypsy pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in 2016 for conspiring to murder her mother with her boyfriend at the time, Nicholas Godejohn, in 2015. She was released from prison in 2023 after serving eight years of her 10-year prison sentence for the murder of her abusive mother, Dee Dee Blanchard.
Nicholas was convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison.
After Gypsy’s prison release last year, Ken’s mother said she has been trying to learn from her mistakes.
“I think she’s a sweet girl,” Raina told the outlet. “I think she’s made her mistakes and she’s trying to learn from them like anyone else. And I care a lot for Gypsy and I want to see good things happen for her.”

Raina narrated how she and her son learned about Gypsy’s story and sympathized with her after watching the documentary Mommy Dead and Dearest, which is based on the story of Gypsy and Dee Dee. After watching the documentary, Ken decided to write a letter to Gypsy in 2018 while she was behind bars.
“He asked me before he wrote the letter and I thought it was a great idea just to show the girl that people out there her age can sympathize,” Raina said.
Ken and Gypsy eventually grew closer and became engaged around the year 2018. However, they later split, and Gypsy went on to marry Ryan in 2022 while she was still in prison.

About three months after her release from Chillicothe Correctional Center in Missouri, Gypsy shared a post on social media last week about calling it quits with Ryan.
“People have been asking what is going on in my life. Unfortunately my husband and I are going through a separation and I moved in with my parents home down the bayou,” her statement said. “I have the support of my family and friends to help guide me through this. I am learning to listen to my heart. Right now I need time to let myself find… who I am.”
