Foul creature. Freeloader. Relied on male privilege to skate on by a human life that needed him and still needs him. My Dad did the same thing when I was 2. I needed him, in any condition, and still do now I'm 53! It leaves a gaping hole. Also needed some child support $$, HELLO! You are not a man until you can be a man!

Its scary how many people in the world refuse to take responsibility for their actions. But its easy for them when everyone lives with a victim mentality. Lets try to understand the poor guy... um... no. He f****d up and he's a piece of s**t for it. This is why your actions are important. What you do is important. They have consequences. I ALMOST got stuck in a similar situation with a manipulative asswipe of a human being...narcissistic, selfish...someone I knew from childhood that I never dreamed would be that way, but while familiarity may breed trust, actions sever them. I moved across the country to go live with him and found out that he was 3 months behind on rent and I needed to pay or else we'd be in the street... he started using my phone because he didn't want to pay for his own and couldn't be bothered with putting a bed in his place for his child to come visit. I was the overly understanding idiot for about two weeks before my senses forced me to leave.

That, people, is what we call a sociopath. Messing with your brain, flipping the whole thing upside down so that you end up believing that you’re the one who’s wrong and he’s the victim. The saddest part is that 9/10 times the sociopaths will get what they want at the end of the conversation and most of the time the real victims are so caught up in the sociopaths’ lies / bullying that they won’t even see they’ve been manipulated or they won’t know how to deal with it and how to defend themselves... Each and everyone of us, but especially women and kids, should be given the tools to defend themselves against physical AND psychological violence.

I used to be this girl as well. There are far too many gaslighting arsehiles out there who specialise in making a woman feel useless, unlovable, who can’t trust their own instincts. I love that this twitter user shared this exchange. And I love that the girlfriend was angry because her useless boyfriend was a liar and a terrible father. I hope she saw the light of day eventually.

Reading this story is strange for me because my mother told me that my father didn't tell her about his previous marriage and three kids until they were dating for some time. I don't think it was as long as a year and he was not a deadbeat dad. Still, at the time, I was furious. I struggled between telling her she should have broken up with him over that and realizing I wouldn't be here if she had. He was great dad to me. Maybe the other three had problems with him, but that's not my business.

OP is no better than the guy she overheard if she's posting pictures of a note that she 'didn't give to her'. All she had to do was tap the girl on the shoulder and discreetly pass her the note, but instead she was too spineless to help her out and opted instead to just rant on social media. I hope that this couple managed to talk through this, for better or worse, and I very much hope that the dad starts taking some level of care for his kid.

We need to get back to basics. I would never put this out there. Not in my nature . seems everyone is judging everyone else. what it comes down to is people only have their best interest in themselves.

This behaviour IS deplorable but so is listening to other people's conversations and then posting them on social media for all the world to see. You have no right to do this. How would you like to be out with someone and be having a private conversation with them and suddenly the next day find your private conversation not so private anymore because some nosey busybody posted it across the internet.? Just because you're in a public place doesn't mean you're conversation is for public knowledge. This poor woman was obviously hurt and angered by this d******d's revelation and the last thing she needs is a nosey cow like you using her pain and upset just to be able to get something to write about online. Do us all a favour. Get a hobby and write about that instead and leave eavesdropping to the other lowlife people in the world.
