I absolutely adore bullmastiffs. I had one that unfortunately died years ago because of the poison dog and cat food incident. He was 12yrs old well over his life expectancy and was still a puppy at heart. God I miss him so much best dog I ever had 😢😢😢

Yep. Irish Wolfhounds grow fast, but I believe it's two years before they are considered an adult! I had two, and puppy classes were hilarious ... a bunch of normal-size (or tiny) puppies, and my gigantic, hairy beasts. We had to get a van to take them places, and they would sit on the back seats like a person, with front feet on the floor. Other drivers would freak out. They are great, chill dogs. Couch potatoes. But they can run like the wind.

my Newfoundland puppy (132 lb.) is adorable and whenever we visit my parents the dog dashes upstairs to visit my dad (paralyzed from the waist down after serving during 9 11) and jumps onto my father. My dad is a very strong man so he does not really care and he just smiles as my huge puppy sits on his lap. It is amazing to watch.
