They don't. They live mostly on savannahs. But at some point, someone decided to call them 'King of the Jungle', and it stuck.
Load More Replies...Technically, the blue whale is the tallest, they just don't stand up very often :) Also, I detest any quiz that mentions "famously" or "well-known" in the question - it implies everyone should know it, which is a bit demeaning to those who don't.
