I hired a woman who learned I was an atheist via another employee. Out of the blue, she told me that Jesus loved me, so I explained that she needed to cool her jets - no religious talk at work. But that didn't stop her. We were way out in the boonies when she continued her religious babbling, annoying the whole crew, so I fired her on the spot. Walked her to the door and told her she'd have to hitch a ride with her buddy Jesus back to her car that was several miles away.

Great answer astral the goat, esp. since levi_G3 was too lazy or stupid to open another tab and search the word for a definition. I hope levi goes through life thinking your answer is correct.

I'm just thankful that my wild 'n crazy years occurred long before the internet and CCTV cameras on every corner.

I have been taught titles belong into quotation marks. It would help. Especially in writing

If you step onto a particularly pointy rock, then yes. It is bad for your sole. Other than that, it's good for your feet. I once stepped onto a pointy rock and only realized I had a hole in my foot when I arrived at home and the floor under my desk looked as if a cat hat k*lled a small animal there, except that I don't have any cats ...

Younger generations have always spoken a language older generations don't understand. I accept my old fart role, as well as my lack of understanding.

The term brony does not, in fact, come from the word bro. It comes from the fact that the fandom started on the /b/ board on 4chan. While some female bronies prefer the term pegasister, many do call themselves bronies and that's perfectly fine. Source: I'm a girl and a brony. Not a creepy one, and the ones I've known aren't creepy, either (except for that one guy who got kicked out of the brony meetup group I was in after he did bad things to me). I genuinely like the show. Well, the first five seasons. It went downhill after that. My Little Pony: Make Your Mark was great, too.

It's like Russian roulette except with your stomach, because sometimes lactose is fine and then sometimes it really really isn't, but the cheese and ice cream are way too good to quit

None of these made any sense without context. I can’t believe I scrolled all the way through, I won’t do it again. I’m sure there are funny comments on TikTok but none of these are them.

I gave up after the first few that made no sense whatsoever. Is the TikTok generation really so brain-numbed as to think that these are funny?
