This entire list pisses me off and makes me realize better the struggles that women have to go through, this entire list treats women usuriously and like they are all spoiled bratty children. Thank god I live in an area where if men treated women like these comments do in public they would get walked out the door by another man

Being alone isn't... "being alone". I like my own life alone now! I can go to the bathroom and spend as much time as I want in there!!! Given my spinal bruising and disability! I can poop in peace!!! I have friends who are usually on the end of FB messenger if something bad has happened. I don't often go out unless I really have to, but I do know that there's always going to be someone that I can reach out to if I'm in need of just talking 💜💜💜

While it gets thrown around often, the idea of the gender pay gap isn’t just some boogeyman, it’s a real and documented issue. On average, in, for example, the EU, the gap stands at 12.7%. While this might not necessarily seem like that much, imagine, for a second, if you will, taking a 12% pay cut just because your employer felt like it.
If you are a woman, chances are you didn’t even have to imagine it. Many workplaces discourage employees from discussing this question for this very reason. It’s also worth noting that the EU has a lot of female participation in the workplace and even rules and regulations against this sort of thing, so the situation is likely worse elsewhere.

In the US, the commonly thrown around number is that a woman makes 84 cents to each dollar paid to a man. Again, this might seem like a smallish gap, but once you consider decades of savings for a pension and social security, the difference becomes a lot harder to justify. Remember, this is, generally, for the exact same amount of work.

Similarly, if you are a woman, depending on where you live, there are no doubt lawmakers who have decided that not only do they know better about feminine anatomy, but that it’s their duty to put in some regulations. This is particularly visible in the United States this year (2024) as twenty-one states have put in place restrictions (or full bans) on abortions.

This is not only a breach of bodily autonomy, a concept so horrible in practice that it has an entire genre of horror dedicated to it, it’s also a surefire way to just make women suffer. In other words, banning abortions doesn’t stop them, it only drives them underground. Pro-life folks, who have cleverly co-opted an innocuous sounding concept, are creating a world where not only is the fetus now in danger, but so is the mother.

I moved and my Blu-ray player stopped showing up my TV (although the audio worked, speakers-wise) when I set it back up. I bought a replacement. Same issue. 3 months later I decided to put my TV on a tall stand and my Son in Law helped out, and noticed I'd put the cable into "HDMI OUT" 😳. It was about then that I realised I def needed new glasses. 🤓

Such an immature reaction. Depending on the time of year or the event, i'd probably need to work out warm clothes to wear if it's winter, if i'm gonna be out a while I need to make sure the cats have plenty of water and food, need to know how late if there's work tomorrow. You can't just text someone out of the blue and expect them to drop their life for you with no explanation just because you want to be spontaneous, then get rude and snippy just because they're not bending to you snapping your fingers. Have respect for the other persons schedule and life.

When we say that, it's usually because we've already voiced our issue with the other person, they've ignored it and changed nothing, so when it happens again we know the person won't change, this is the c**p you'll always have to deal with from them, so there's no point in having another conversation about it. The quickest way to nullify the conversation is to say "i'm fine/it's fine" with that withering look on our face of utter exasperation. An entire gender isn't doing this just for the fun of it.

Sorry, but these were awful. Very sexist and demeaning for the most part, although a few were cute - especially the ones that were not gender specific. It is this theme of being "girly" that puts us in a second hand and lower position - a display of "look at me, guys, I am ditzy and emotional so I am less threatening - isn't that cute?" that makes it difficult for the rest of us ladies to be taken seriously. I know young ladies in middle grades who are more mature than most of these entries. This one (obviously) hits a nerve with me.
