New Hilarious Photoshop Edits By Master Troll James Fridman Who Takes Photo Requests Too Literally (18 Pics)
If you’re into photo editing, Photoshop wizard James Fridman needs little introduction. Time and again, the British graphic designer takes the internet by storm by tweaking photos upon request — and never turning down an opportunity to troll them. Our photography-loving team here at Bored Panda has already covered his witty antics here, here, and here. But because we’re such huge fans, we just had to do a follow-up!
Time goes by, seasons change, yet people still fail to learn one lesson his edits teach: be careful what you wish for. James independently transformed trolling into an art form equipped only with brilliant retouching skills and great humor. He gladly accepts submissions to alter an image and entertains us by sending back comically unexpected results.

Agreed! Excellent style and fit for her, and that red is perfect (for her AND that bull).
Load More Replies...This is made less funny by how they so obviously staged it to send to him, as well as how their faces are edited enough in the original that they ended up in the uncanny valley.
Am I the only one who thinks that the woman's face looks weird? It looks sort of off...
Let's be fair tho', did James have any other choice? 🤣
Load More Replies...That made me snort my coffee out of my nose. Totally worth it. James Fridman is a legend
Me. I saved a valentine's themed mask to add to a scrapbook I'm creating. There's nothing wrong with her wanting to have had a picture with a mask on. To be reminded of our lives, experiences, and things that we went through. Just the fact that we were able to live through it is something to be thankful for. It doesn't have to be negative unless you make it negative. That is entirely up to you and I for one saved a mask to be reminded that I'm still able to live, create more good times, be better, and be grateful.
Load More Replies...I would keep that edit as my wedding photo. It's hilarious and it will make my children and grandchildren laugh their a..es off.
As you’re scrolling through this list, you’ll notice James has a talent for finding the most literal interpretation of the requests he receives. And it's no surprise the masses are entertained by his comedic photo edits and blatant misinterpretations. At the time of writing, he has amassed millions of devoted fans eagerly waiting for the next masterpiece to grace their feeds. Over 1.6M followers on Facebook. More than 2.1M admirers on Twitter. A whopping 2.3M loyal fans on Instagram. It’s hard not to love James’ work and his great sense of humor, right?
The content James creates is appealing to anyone looking for some quality humor. And he doesn't intend to stop — the Photoshop guru is open to requests and will happily edit anyone's pics. From improving their physical appearance to making their surroundings more dramatic, his hilarious edits give people exactly what they asked for (yet didn’t expect!). After all, he warns all the submitters in the description of his social media feeds: "Do not submit any personal photos that you do not want to be made public. Terms and conditions apply."
Hope whatever he's looking at is interesting because he'll be seeing it for a long while.
I mean, if you just showed me this with no info...I wouldn't question it. Lol
Not gonna lie; it took me a second to realize he made the dude a statue. My brain was just like "ok so he cropped the guy out" and then realized 🤪
Actually I think this one still met her request without doing anything crazy, it's a nice photo
Hah hah, this is brilliant. I would totally hang this up and see how long it would take guests to discover that something is a little bit off.
It's real talent. Take such RANDOM scene and give it context. Awesome!
Load More Replies...Now the request will be, "The balls are too big, can you make them smaller."
Why would you care to do anything with this photo at all, it's a terrible photo in every way even if her face and arm had looked more normal. x')
If you're not a vegan or vegetarian, you eat sentient creatures.
Load More Replies..."I don't consider myself a graphic designer, it is more of a hobby," he told The Telegraph. "When I first started using image manipulation software, it was something new and not as widespread as it is now, so everyone was learning and experimenting."
"I did some funny edits for friends and family, and they ended up on the internet. Apparently, people found it quite entertaining and asked for more — that’s how I ended up creating my Twitter account."
Still laughing. Nope still laughing. Please I want to stop. Nope still . .
Well, that is your name, isn't it? Calvin Klein? It's written all over your underwear.
I think with this one I would of just taken Calvin Klein off and left it saying JEANS
OK I'm stupid. I thought he's coloured in the shirt and just didn't get it. lol lol #facepalm
Took me five minutes, don't feel bad. Unfortunately, it wasn't worth the effort.
Load More Replies...While James is a very well-known social media sensation, however, he doesn’t seem to feel comfortable in the spotlight. There’s only one picture of him online, and this was the only interview with the press we could find. While the creator tends to step away from the public eye, he prefers that others get some attention — in the funniest possible way.
James is well aware of the humorous impact he has on social media platforms. "The omnipresence of comedy in social media has created a new way of delivering information to the public," he said. "Entertainment accounts cater to a wider audience, delivering current news and addressing social issues wrapped in humor. It makes it easier to work through sensitive subjects."
It's not the "middle" toes but the "index" toes though, so I think that's not offensive. Well played.
She must know James, otherwise she would not be afraid of getting made bald...
This guy has been at this for years. I doubt anyone sends him a genuine request anymore.
Load More Replies...That's literally the main protagonist in the Marvel Avengers video game - you've been beaten to the punch.
Load More Replies...I think James just mirrored his face to the other side lol, which is why it came out looking weird 😂
Load More Replies...Oh, and can you please remove the wet spot from his crotch while you're at it? He pees a little when he laughs.
The unnecessary arm around the waist... because no half measures, Walt.
However, "It is now quite a trend to get offended by almost everything," he added. While some people may get upset by James’ hilarious shenanigans, his work clearly has good intentions. For example, many followers also applaud the times he simply refused to carry out a request to edit the photos. He'll just share a touching message about the person in the picture, reminding us that nobody’s perfect and that there’s more to social media culture than selfies and likes. By doing so, James challenges unrealistic beauty standards that are so evident online, as well as promotes the importance of self-acceptance and welfare.
The entitlement in thinking that someone who works with photos and image editing is going to help you steal a photo from another professional really matches his bratty look.
Ah yes, getting the tree in the shot is more important than not making the couple look terribly awkward with each other and like they have been forced to pose but would prefer not to touch at all. Facepalm.
Moreover, he also founded the James Fridman Foundation as a way to help young people handle the difficulties they face today. "Our mission is to support and help children and young people in developing their skills, understanding, and capabilities that will enable them to navigate the obstacles they encounter as they grow and participate in society as independent, mature and responsible individuals."
As it states on the foundation’s website, modern society creates many hardships for the young that can impact their mental well-being and healthy development. "Lack of knowledge, understanding and appropriate skills on how to build resilience and emotional shield leads to an inability to work through challenges modern life has put upon them," it says, aiming to help and support children and young people affected by social issues through art, humor, and creativity.
That was one slick burn...she's going to need some super high SPF for that.
It's not that hard: get a rod, get some bait, cast it and .... wait.
Yes, all pro fisher(wo)men pull their swim suit bottoms down as they fish. Fact.
Why would they choose this spot in the first place, the green cement thing in the background and the ground around her looks really bad, especially for a wedding photo, even without the pipe.

LMAO She wanted just the glass removed and he did it perfectly
Load More Replies...It's probably a stupid question, but ... do people who send him those know he'll turn them into memes, or does he sometimes does what is requested and sometimes not?
I've read several times that he does in fact send them what they asked for as well.
Load More Replies...I wonder he also does the work requested, when appropriate, along with the "fixed" work...
