Scott is a cartoonist who was born "on top of an arctic glacier", exposed to "high levels of intense radiation", and made his way to becoming a well-known artist. He creates a funny comic series called 'The Argyle Sweater' filled with absurd situations and silly humor. Why 'The Argyle Sweater', you may ask? Well, because "'The Argyle Cummerbund' was taken and 'The Argyle Girdle' just sounded plain silly."

So I was curious why lights and paint had different methods of blending colors (rbg vs rby) so I looked it up. Color is f*****g confusing. I found out that if you look at something purple, and blend red and blue perfectly it still isn't that color. It just looks that way because humans can't tell the difference between a naturally occurring single color and one approximating it through blending 2 or more

When you look at something "purple" it really isn't purple, it is only reflecting those wavelengths of light, it is entirely reliant on the source of light.

Technically, there is only a 25% chance of it being purple, it could be blue tinged red or red tinged blue. But if there is a familial line where someone got frisky with a yellow, kid could be green-ish without anyone getting frisky with yellow for this specific crayon.......or blue went and got some of that 💛.
Scott can be considered an old wolf in the comic world. His work is found in such giants as LA Times, NY Daily News, Chicago Tribune, Washington Post, Dallas Morning News, and more! People seem to enjoy Scott's edgier and darker humor, that's why he's so popular.

In one of his interviews, the artist revealed that he gets ideas for his comics from pop culture, historical references or "presenting animals or fairy tale characters with human settings and real-life experiences". Some of his ideas come from something he has overheard his kids say or do, but not as many.

Scott shared that Larson was one of his biggest influences. Besides that, he also read New Yorker cartoonists like Sam Gross and Tom Cheney. "I was always impressed at how a single panel cartoonist could say so much in just one frame – especially when the humor is inferred and required some thought on the part of the reader. That 'A-HA!' moment is something I try to create in my own cartoons."

He exists. Brad Walker is a potter in Dahlonega, GA who has had a shop there since the 70s and is known as the Hairy Potter. He even has a comic similar to this right inside his shope door.

It used to be traditional to give a piece of coal in Christmas stockings (as in a sock you hang up). Translate coal to cole and socks to stockings and suspenders and you get the image. I'm betting he's a lumberjack!

An example is below... user "apatheist" below just got -10 votes for simply pointing out that Paul Revere making the ride isn't historically accurate. Now that user has been automatically banned and for what?! Downvotes should be reserved for comments that are racist, misogynistic, promote violence or abuse... not for this! Like Brightly said, down vote doesn't equal dislike. I feel like there's some exceptions: for nurses, while gardening... Anything where you'd want airy footwear, but still cover your toes. I don't have any, and I find them hideous, but when my children would need shoes for the balcony (we've got sparrows nesting above ours, it gets dirty in summer -.-), I wouldn't be averse to getting crocs.
