Learning the ropes of the internet takes a bit of time and a certain level of dedication. Learning what and where to click is only part of it—it’s also understanding the culture, how things are done, security and safety online, all that jazz.
So, you can imagine why it’s an extra bit more challenging for the older generations to stay safe under the radar of the public forum that we call the internet. Once you’re detected, you’re likely to be seen by pages like Old People Web, an Instagram page that’s all about sharing screenshots of old people doing their thing online.

I've seen this one a lot on threads like this. I have to laugh every time I see it.

Ok Edith you mucky puppy, I see your hot Nigel pics and raise you by tepid Boris shots
I feel for this one. Being new to panda, I’ve had to look up a lot of acronyms.
I've never seen an ethnic group widget on Amazon, wtf is she talking about?
Technically enough essential oils poured on your keyboard, it will be like you logged out
Stop! In the name of lust. Before you show me your stuff. Think it o-o-over.
A Trump eagle. There’s an f*cking eagle with Trump’s head on it in his background! Debra’s a smart woman.

That yard is lacking in grass. Has it been reseeded recently?
Usually they say I'm interested send me your phone number because they want to hack into your account.
"Record wins across the country... the Green wave has arrived" is a very sensationalistic post for a party with 4 seats.
Hmmmm, looks very much like my sleeping bag that was stolen from a party in Enfield in 1989.
Bless him. After some of these photos, at my age it's nice to see a man who's still taking care of his appearance.
Hail Marty, full of grace. The lard is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst wholesale chain stores, and blessed is the fruit of thy...produce department...probably.
Did you call Arthur Dent that? Also dammit I had forgotten about covfefe until now.
Load More Replies...I have an older friend (late 60s) who is pretty tech savvy but keeps sending me very long videos for Christmas/Easter and so on. Like FOUR full minutes of an animated reindeer or Easter bunny wishing me happy Easter/Christmas in excruciatingly slow high pitched speech. I've never managed to watch any of these to the end.
I'm a Boomer (63, born in 1960) and I'd like to apologize for the boomer idiots who can't figure out basic technology.
Same. I'm slightly older than you. My dad, may he rest in peace, did better than these examples!
Load More Replies...They can't figure out how very basic websites work (that little kids can figure out) and the men, half the time, area hardly dressed.....but yeah, they should totally be writing laws and governing.
I can't even comment on any of them because they'd all be rows of 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 and no one needs that. But yeah, holy s**t these were all hysterical! Boomers Crack me up! (I'm 51,gen X and I vow to always be tech savvy etc etc blah blah).
OMG. I started laughing so hard that I triggered an asthma attack, and now I'm totally coughing and lightheaded. But it was so worth it! This was hilarious.
Load More Replies...After seeing my 2 year old neice discover shortcuts and options on my phone that I've never used and being generally tech savvy, I think we're all gonna be just as bad when we're older and technology advances. Luckily she's terrible at holding the phone so she can't press any buttons... yet 😂
Most of the people being called old now used technology when it actually took effort.
I needed this laugh!!! Slightly worried about what my elderly folks may be posting on social media though now!!! 👀
I think Cosby had the worst reaction to his social experiences with that Meme challenge. Lol
