How about collaborating with an actual human artist instead? That's how many comic books and graphic novels are created (and have been for 75 years); a writer provides the ideas and dialog, and an artist draws those ideas into fruition.

AI is not a "new creative tool", it's a blight and is destroying the creative industry. Stop pretending you're an unappreciated visionary when what you actually are is lazy and untalented, using software that steals from real human artists to make sub par, soulless "art" of literally no benefit to anyone. It takes zero creativity to write a prompt into an AI machine. Zero.

These aren't your comics. You did not "create"them. The only element that has a human behind it is the prompts you fed into the generator. You created sentences and want praise for art that belongs to the countless artists who had their work scraped and slopped together so you could pretend to be a comic artist.

This is why it makes me sad to read your comment. No one is dismissing your ideas behind the comic strips, you seem to have very relatable sense of humour and genuine talent, which is what drew me in in the first place - but as an artist, saying that "creative tools have always faced resistance" and AI being a "part of how creativity is evolving today" as a reason for using AI in a creative process, can you genuinely look at this article and be proud of it, ignoring everything else? I am not aware of the terms and conditions of your work for BP and your own capabilities and resources, but an actual artist could have been commissioned and collaborated with you on this article - it would have been amazing to see.
