"Buddy, I don't even clean my own house" just killed me! This would be me in 15 years!
It's me now but I'm not a contractor and no fucking way I'm cleaning anyone else house.
your tone changes with a 6 figured check. on top of your original fees
with a PoA, I guess you can hire a cleaning service.
For the right dollar amount you would. Puh-lease.
Don't clean it. Hire a service, pay their fees, and turn around and bill the homeowner double that cost for "your" cleaning services.
Despite all the weirdness that happened in this story, I give the contractor kudos for taking care of the situation for the homeowner and telling him some teens were in his house. Most contractors would have just walked away without saying a word...
What? Why would anyone walk away from their job because other people were there? You still probably signed a deal. Walking away from a contract with a rich man is not the best idea for your wallet for multiple reasons. If the contractor just peaced out and didn't way a work they'd be the biggest pieces of shit ever.
An unsafe working condition immediately voids a labor contract on the premises. He was in his rights to walk away once he saw the condition of the home. Good thing that he didn't though. Made money and now this customer will offer a good word of mouth for other clients. Discretion is highly valued in the 1% world.
didn't *say* a *word*
*One change of underwear later* LOL! I first thought why is that statement here.. and then it dawned on me.. hilarious!
