33 New Comics With Unexpected Endings And Darker Humor By Andy Babbitz
Andy Babbitz is a Los Angeles-based cartoonist and former advertising art director whose comics often focus on everyday situations, awkward moments, and things many of us can relate to. His work has also appeared in The New Yorker, and he has developed a style that mixes simple observations with unexpected punchlines.
In a previous conversation with Bored Panda, the artist shared that many of his ideas come from things he notices in everyday life, including social interactions, odd formalities, and embarrassing moments. He usually writes these ideas down as simple sentences before turning them into finished comics, sometimes creating a comic in as little as 45 minutes when an idea comes together quickly.

My dog would 100% wish for that. Her previous owner died and was undiscovered for a week while the dog was out in her kennel unfed and unwatered. When she came to us she would literarily wrap her paws around your legs to prevent you from leaving. Last year the other dogs cornered a moose near where I was standing on the hunting line (i dont know the term in engish - a position where you are to stand and wait, you cant leave until the hunt leader gives permission). So I unleashed my dog thinking she would join the others and help. She pounded into the forest. And came right back looking at me like: "Arent you coming???"

Usually poisonous berries taste bad - they have this bland and slightly bitter or "techical" taste. If you encounter a berry that has a strong unpleasant taste, leave it uneaten. Pleasant berries, where you would axtually take the ssecond and third berry are usually safe to eat. Yes, I taste every plant I encounter. I am basically a pest at botanical gardens and should probably be banned from visiting. Luckily I also read plant lexicons for fun.
