Mockingbirds are f*****g psychos when it comes to their territory. We have a pair that nest in one of our trees, and man, they will swoop down on any creature passing by. Including humans. Then they’ll perch high up close by and stare at you menacingly. If you don’t believe me, try passing by a tree with a mockingbird’s nest in it.
