To most people, a banana is breakfast. To John King, it's a character with relationship issues, a complicated love life, and at least one pun it really should have kept to itself. That's the premise of Fruit Gone Bad, the cartoonist's long-running comic series in which fruits, vegetables, snacks, and even the odd haystack or garden tool develop personalities and immediately start making poor choices.
