Unfortunately, stories about abandoned and unwanted dogs have become daily news, with heartbreaking reports showing up more often than we’d like. All we can hope for is a happy ending for every single pup out there that’s been through hell and heartbreak. Imgur user ilikeduckies recently shared quite a positive story about finding a dog however the happy ending is still yet to come.
Yesterday, the woman shared a story about how she and her boyfriend found a lost pup in the middle of nowhere. They spent hours trying to befriend the poor pooch. “She was very scared and very skinny, and she didn’t have any tags” the woman recalled. After a while, they managed to befriend the pup which they named Blueberry (or shortly, Blue) and she quickly turned into the sweetest dog ever. But the battle wasn’t over yet as the woman reported that her boyfriend’s opinion differed greatly from hers. Scroll down to read the full story and find out what happened!

“First she laid her head in my lap and started dozing off” the woman recalled
“She has such a pretty face” she said

Adopt her. You’ll sort out the tricky bits. Just like having a baby at the wrong time. Once she lives with you, you take it day by day and make it work. Not keeping her will very probably mean regretting it forever. And it’s not natural. Life means getting attached and overcoming difficulties, not ticking off items of a neatly planned bucket list. Enjoy the ride that’s offered you by living in tune with what is happening to you!
Ditto ...Once you've had a dog in your life, there is no life without dogs...he'll come around, tomorrow never comes....live today...
The 'regretting forever' part is important. If it doesn't work out at all, there is still the option of finding a better home for the pooch, but not trying at all is just going to sour her life.
Agreed! The "baby at the wrong time" comparison is a good one, having a dog is A LOT like having a small child. And adopting this dog could prepare you for other, even less predictable changes in your life, who knows! You guys can find a way to make it work.
There is a very simple solution to your problem. Looks like you need a new boyfriend ;-)
Destiny is stronger than that douchebag boyfriend. Blue will make her the happiest, theres no doubt about that. Shes been waiting to have a pup all her life. Keep Blue and put the boyfriend in adoption.
I was about to say the same thing. If he's like this with a dog, what about when you decide to have a child? Is he going to "reason" away your desire to have a baby? Sounds like the problem isn't whether or not you adopt the dog, it's whether or not to throw your boyfriend back into the sea. There are always better boyfriends....
There will never be a "right time" to do anything. Step up and step over. It will work out...one way or another...and it will be fine.
Exactly. The dog you'll have its whole life. The b.f. is likely temporary.
