To Delaynie’s surprise, Nate wasn’t lying. Taking the “super cool date” position very seriously, he penned a resume that included all of the main focus areas, including experience and key features. “I was using Tinder for a year or so when it happened,” Nate told Bored Panda.

What asked what was it about her that made Delaynie stand out from his other matches, Nate remained sincere, “Honestly, just how attractive she is.”
After Delaynie shared their exchange online, over 50k Twitter users liked it and started asking if Nate’s resume got him the “job.”

At this point, I invite you to play the bad-news-good-news. The bad news is, Nate didn’t attend the wedding. The good news is, however, that the two of them remained friends.
“My experience with the app has been pretty good, I’ve made a few friends but Delaynie’s the only girl I’ve actually met,” he added. “My first impression was that she’s super outgoing and extremely fun to be around, it hasn’t changed even a little.”
“We’ve never officially been a couple but we hang out and go on dates occasionally, and we like it that way.”

To the dude who was wondering about the strange spelling of "Delaynie". Maybe she was born after the estimated date of birth, hence she was delayed.

But why do people always feel like they need a date to a family wedding. I mean I've been with my boyfriend for 10 years but a lot of times I've gone to family things like that alone. Even a wedding.

I don't know.. as far as I know, dates to a wedding are restricted to people you are living with, or engaged/married to. Only the very serious relationships.

This is a bit sad. So she is basically admitting she does not have a single friend - male/female to take to her own sister's wedding? Auditioning strange guys to be a date - 5 months in advance? Desperately Seeking Boyfriend - with lame excuse

I'm going out on a limb here, but if her family is anything like mine, I'd rather take a stranger as well. I mean, if and when my brother gets married, I won't be able to bail out, but I practically refuse to attend large family functions because of how rude people are about me not being married. It's practically impossible to attend a wedding without extremely disrespectful comments.
