Actually if you read about Mike, this isn't the first rocket he's made, and he's only recently started "believing" on flat earth. He set up a gofundme campaign to fund his latest rocket and only got $310 out of his $150,000 target. Then he heard about the flat earth society, "converted" to their cause and they funded him. Seems like he's mainly just using them for the money, and it's doubtful he truly believes them.

There are people who still believe in the healing power of crystals and pyramids too. I suspect most of the "serious" flat earthers are just people so lost in trolling that they themselves can't tell whether they're serious or not.

No because it is a waste of money to prove a group of people who do not believe in reality. Even if you sent one of them to space. They would either deny it, or the whole group would deny that persons account of the experience when they returned. They aren't interested in the truth. They want to believe in a conspiracy that the majority says and has proven is false.

Actually, they believe they are. They even have all fly routes mapped out like how they believe them to be. In fact, FAA's reasoning for why no flight routes across Antarctica exist (it's because of the extreme cold weather conditions by the way) is one of their biggest explanations for a flat earth.
