Female Stars Who Were Targeted By A Controversial Celebrity Blogger

Hilton and Gaga were close friends in the late 2000s, with the blogger frequently promoting her work on his website. She was also reportedly one of the celebrities to whom he confided about his desire to bully public figures less.

Their friendship, however, began to unravel in 2011. Gaga attributed the fallout to Hilton asking her "really terrible questions" about her relationship with then-boyfriend Taylor Kinney.

She also accused him of being "very negative" about her album Born This Way, despite her helping him launch his ITV miniseries Perez Hilton Superfan.

"He was supposed to be my friend, and I felt betrayed, so I started crying," Gaga told Howard Stern in November 2013.

Gaga accused Hilton of being "fake" in their friendship, to which he responded by asking her to "look at yourself in the mirror."

Before detailing the fallout on television, Gaga accused Hilton of attempting to stalk her by trying to rent an apartment in her New York City building.

"Stay away from me + my family," Gaga warned Hilton on X.

Hilton denied the allegations, calling her claims "false."

Hilton later described his coverage of Christina Aguilera around the release of her sixth studio album, Bionic, in 2010 as "one of the things I'm most ashamed of."

He admitted that he deliberately tried to hurt the singer professionally by giving her "all kinds of terrible nicknames."

One of those nicknames was "Floptina," suggesting that Aguilera's career was failing.

In his criticism, Hilton argued that Aguilera was imitating then-friend Gaga's sound and visual style.

He later claimed that Gaga had used him "as a tool," not only against Aguilera but against several of her perceived rivals.

Aguilera brushed off the controversy during an appearance on Andy Cohen's SiriusXM show, saying she hoped Hilton had "grown since then." She also maintained that she never took his criticism of Bionic to heart because she had faith in her work.

"Remember when you bullied a 13-year-old for money?"

That was how Tallulah Willis, the daughter of Bruce Willis, began an October 2025 Instagram post directed at Hilton.

She said his comments about her appearance—particularly his mockery of her resemblance to her father's prominent chin—left her unable to say the word "chin" aloud for years.

Willis also revealed that the public humiliation became so overwhelming that it made her want to end her life.

The post prompted an outpouring of support, with several commenters sharing their own experiences of being targeted by Hilton.

"Perez Hilton bullied me about my chin at some point too!!! Yayyy chins!!!" wrote Ireland Baldwin.

"We all have a Perez story. You're as gorgeous as you are powerful," added Sailor Brinkley-Cook.

The conflict between Jennifer Lawrence and Hilton began during the 2014 celebrity photo hack, in which private images stolen from iCloud accounts were distributed online.

Lawrence was among the most prominent victims, and the incident was widely regarded as a criminal invasion of privacy rather than a conventional celebrity scandal.

On September 1, 2014, Hilton published both censored and uncensored versions of the stolen photographs before later removing the uncensored images.

"I acted in haste just to get the post up and didn't really think things through. I'm sorry," he explained soon afterward.

Hilton later removed the censored photographs as well, saying that, upon reflection, he had become uncomfortable with his decision.

In a follow-up statement, he pledged not to publish intimate photographs like that again.

Lawrence rejected the apology during a 2014 interview with Vanity Fair, arguing that Hilton removed the images only because of public backlash.

"He took it down because people got p**sed, and that's the only reason why," she said.

Lawrence stressed that being a public figure does not amount to consent to publish private images.

"It's my body, and it should be my choice."

Hilton later apologized again in another post. However, he opened the message with the words "f*** you," a decision that further angered social media users.

"Downright nasty," one user wrote. "He is awful," another added.

In 2013, Amanda Bynes embodied everything Hilton had long treated as fodder for his blog—her struggles with illicit substances, signs of psychological distress, rapidly changing appearance, and legal troubles stemming from erratic public behavior.

Hilton capitalized on the situation, calling Bynes "mentally unstable" in a March 2013 post alongside a photograph of her walking through Times Square with a blue shirt covering her face.

Bynes responded by threatening to sue Hilton over his coverage.

The following month, she called him "the s**m of the earth" while demanding that he leave her alone.

Their feud reached its most explosive point in May after Hilton commented on Bynes' arrest for allegedly throwing a bong from her apartment window. The accompanying photograph, however, was one Bynes insisted did not depict her.



"Stop living! K** yourself," she wrote in response, while accusing Hilton of hiring someone to impersonate her.

Rather than ignoring the message, Hilton reposted Bynes' comments, amplifying them further.

He then responded with another disturbing remark, suggesting that, given her behavior, she might not outlive him. He referenced the "27 Club," a term associated with musicians and celebrities who died at the age of 27, often due to accidents or s*lf-harm.

Gossip websites frequently portrayed Tara Reid as a reckless party girl and a symbol of Hollywood's decline in the 2000s.

Hilton amplified that image by giving her nicknames such as "Terror" and "Trashy." One post about an apparel line she was developing even carried the headline "[working woman] Rejoice."

Reid called Hilton a "bully" in 2013. This came after he alleged that her then-boyfriend Erez Eisen had been drinking during a Las Vegas outing, despite Eisen being teetotal. 

The American Pie actress pushed back against the claims in a series of posts on Twitter, writing, "My boyfriend doesn't even drink so stop saying things that are so untrue and mean… Why do u keep on saying bad things about me?!" 

In a 2021 interview, Reid reflected on Hilton's role in shaping public perception of her.

"I think he's the one that ruined my career, to be honest with you," she said.

Hilton labeled Avril Lavigne a "no-talent pop star" in 2007 as he repeatedly mocked her music, clothing, and behavior on his website.

Lavigne responded by launching her own website to answer his attacks.

Called PerezLavigne.com, the site compiled Hilton's posts and videos while encouraging fans to challenge his coverage.

In one post, Lavigne wrote that Hilton believed he was "the best" because he made people look foolish, but argued:

"In reality, he is the biggest silly person I've ever seen!"

Hilton dismissed the website as evidence that Lavigne was overly sensitive and unable to accept criticism.
