I worked at the Willis tower when they switched the name from the sears tower. I was also there when they were installing those ledges, and I can tell you, that I still havent been out in one of them. I watched a 6 year old crack the first layer of glass in the left one with a paperweight the family bought in the gift shop. Absolutely f*cking WILD.

I've not been up there since they added the glass floors to the edges. Thankfully, at least this person is safe inside!

Yeah. This is expert level mountain climbing. That said, notice she's actually roped in with a belay down below. While she should be wearing a helmet for multiple reasons (falling debris and possible slip & head wack), this could be safe.

U can’t slip. They got crampons (metal attachment with spikes that attaches to boots. Usually used for ice climbing.)

YES, they are so fun. The technique is quite simple. One of my favorite crags has a really fun 5.8/9 that has a big chimney!

I've done this! It's the Sky Tower in Auckland. It's actually a controlled fall...you fall a few feet and then they dangle you like this mid-air for a few moments to take a picture before they drop you again all the way to the ground. I think it's about 190 metre drop (like 660 feet). Was a lot of fun!
