30 Things That A Lot Of Moms Have In Common And People On Twitter Can’t Understand How It Works
InterviewEveryone has a different experience and a different relationship with their mom, but weirdly enough, there are things that almost all of them do. Maybe it’s a generation thing or every mom gets a manual of very specific things that aren’t necessarily related to parenting that they have to do when they become moms.
Twitter users noticed that every mom they encountered does the same things as the next one and listed the behaviors they have seen repeatedly, asking why they do that and creating a mini trend on Twitter.
Which of these tweets describe your mother or a mom you know? Are there any other things that are universal for all moms? Share your experiences and your thoughts in the comments!

The anxiety. Will she make it back before you get to the register? Won't She? Sh*t we are getting close... Where tf is she?!
LOL My mom wants total control. She'll be like "I can swipe through the pictures. You don't have to do it for me." As if I'm the one treating her like a toddler. Then she gets angry because she ends up doing something to mess up the pictures and can't figure out how to stop it. I don't let anyone touch my phone anymore.
My mom JUST gave me a lecture on how dark mode and low brightness would ruin my eyes XD
Do you know how much knowledge you can get from background of a photo?
Just to mess with your mind....we know we have to provide for you but we want you to know that we are sacrificing our beings for you dammit! 😁
Other way in our house. The kids are supposed to be in bed, it's my relaxation time, and I want to be left alone lol.
In 20 years, her child is going to make a similar tweet, "Why do moms always dab and keep walking when they see an old friend???" 😄
She knows you're gonna be extremely late if she doesn't exaggerate the time.
They are remembering the time when you were a kid. I do this to my son and he's just 8. 😁
In regards to partners, not kids, we are Just checking to make sure we can take the remote. So many times my hubby will seem like he is asleep, so I go pick up the remote and he will say "Hey, I was watching that".
Because we went through the g-ddamn trouble to cook it! Cooking sucks! If you don't eat it hot, why did I even bother cooking for you?
They are pretty.. we like pretty things 😁. Though my phone case is black..because that's my fave color.
My mom's side of the family is very distantly related to the Windsors through their German relatives. Have we been invited to any of the royal weddings? No! It's like they don't even know we exist.
LOL I sorta do but there are times when I don't. If I don't I tell her in case she's rummaging up plans. But it's always "So... when do you work next?" "Did you work today?" I hate that question because she'll ask it on any day, including the weekend and it makes me feel like if I answer no she'll think I'm not working enough.
So you know the sacrifices we made for you all day that didnt allow us time to eat... 😁
As a mother of 4 (all grown) I must be super weird because only #13 applies to me
"Always" and "Never": two aggressive words that turn a statement into an accusation. "You took the last cookie." becomes "You ALWAYS take the last cookie." Don't fight with your mom.
Mom: "eat the last *piece of whatever meal we're having* Me: "no thanks I'm really full." Mom: "but it's so little left, can't you just eat it so it doesn't go to waste?" Me: "can't you eat it?" Mom: "no I'm full" Every single time...
Either your mum has never heard of leftovers and/or has no fridge
