(Some)Things I’ve cleaned as a hospitality server. Pee in a pint glass in corner of pub floor. Poop ON TOP of a urinal disc placed in the sink of the washroom, vomit in a hat left on a sink in washroom and my allll time fave blood spatters from girls who take tampons out and (from what I’m guessing from the pattern I clean off the wall) spin the blood soaked tampon by the string like a helicopter etc. this is only some things 😂

We have a Customer toilet in our Shop, right at the entrance. You have no idea at all, what people can and will do. :D I hope after the summer, i have to not anymore scratch poop from the walls.

I worked as a supervisor at Goodwill, this was a daily occurrence in the fitting rooms, on the floor in various areas, on the furniture (couch got peed on? Throw it in the dumpster!) and especially the bathroom. Once our store manager actually had to put on a hazmat suit to clean all the feces out of every surface of the bathroom.

Yes. My sister used to work at Dollar Tree. She quit because she was done with cleaning up poop. Not poopy diapers, poop. In the store. Humans are disgusting.

barista here: too much of our job involves cleaning up bodily fluids! worst thing i ever found on cafe was a used condom in a mug. i touched it before i realised what it was. threw out the mug as well. practically scalded my hand trying to feel clean again

We know. Since the ability for working class wage servers to change the whole system in the US is near zero, many of us wonder why you repeat what the planet already agrees with you on. Please, do wave your magic wand and fix it for us!

They wouldn't have to wait a real Karen and co at all, would the US just do what others do: Throw out obnoxious costumers immediately. I've never seen another country with so many entitled people and that's, at least partially, because they get enabled so much. Service staff elsewhere doesn't have to tolerate such abuse at all.

You are completely right that servers/wait staff should be paid a decent wage, but customers should still act in a courteous manner.

My father was told to attend church by his boss, my dad asked why do you go to church? Answer It's good for business dad said you go to church and see how many new customers you get in a month. I will do the same by not going to church! Guess who won!

I saw a picture on a news article about unvaccinated COVID patients that stuck with me. The guy didn't get vaccinated because he "didn't know what was in the vaccine". The picture showed several lines with different meds going into his IV. I'm really sure he had no idea what they are were.

Those who don’t believe in logic cannot be persuaded by it.

There people at my work (we MAKE medicine for injection) who refuse to get vaccinated and some of them work on the goddamn FILL LINES. All because they either don't trust doctors or our state's democratic governor (and the president). I don't get it. And if I hear them talking about it one more time, I'm going to say "Then why do you work here?" Sorry for the rant.

I suppose obese people shouldn't receive treatment for heart disease or type 2 diabetes because they demonstrably don't believe in the scientifically proven benefits of proper diet and exercise.

This should be the rule. No vaccine or mask no acess to the hospital
