– We completely change the image of the standard map. The viewing angle and the building elements themselves on the map give 3D animation look.

The design and artistic vision are different from the traditional tourist route maps. The isometric perspective helps to position the eye and perceive exactly where the person is in the complete image.

1.What is the project?

The project consists of the design and production of artistic tourist route maps in isometric perspective for all tourists and visitors in Mallorca. It is the first serie of tourist maps in selected routes divided into 7 categories:

1 Gastronomy

2 Relax

3 Nature

4 Culture

5 Family

6 Sport

7 Entertainment

Each category is divided into subcategories. For example, in “Gastronomy” there are:

Route – Best – Vegetarian restaurants

Route – Restaurants with live music

Route – Best Restaurants Mediterranean cuisine

Route – Nightclubs

Etc.

2.How it works?

It is tourist route map in isometric perspective. The selection of categories and subcategories of diversity guess your desire in the moment or you can take ideas from the subcategories.

For example:

You are going with your kids on vacation and want to take them to an amusement park. So you go to the category of “family” and take subcategory “THE BEST amusement parks for families.”

You do the same thing if you want to be in the nature or to celebrate a birthday.

¿So, isn’t it more expensive for the customer?

No, not at all. We are currently in negotiations with the relevant sites and will offer bonuses in the maps. We have a good progress, so in some cases you can save up to 50% of the ticket account at a restaurant, etc.

3.What is the product?

InJOYMAP is a Collection of Artwork isometric tourist route maps which can endlessly expand. They are made on paper support which is eco-friendly synthetic material and biodegradable, thus no crushing or breaking.

We thought in the environmental aspect.

4. For who is the product?

The product is for all tourists and visitors in Mallorca:

– For those who do not speak the local language well

– For those looking for something new and interesting

– For all families with children and for all children who have you

– For all the youngs and in love

– For all advanced ages with young adventurous spirit

– For all that, those who ….

Globalization and competition have contributed to the massive traveling on long distances. More and more people can travel to other countries on vacation. Here in Mallorca annually we are visited by approximately 18 million tourists and guests. InJOYMAP was created and designed precisely for them and cover all age groups from 18 to 100 years. It is for all who like to plan their vacation or improvise on the place.

The map is very visual and creative. You can even keep it as a poster – a nice memory of an unforgettable vacation. We think that will appeal to fans of art and design. We don’t even know into which category it falls: art, design, journalism, craft, games and others.

5. How did we come to it, what inspired the idea? Why we make this product?

The pattern of the classic map has not changed for over 100 years. Every day we see lost tourists with maps in hand, which has no orientation or have been lost. Today, millions of people use every day web-maps and map applications. But does it really help us when we are on vacation? Or stressed us and confused us more. It happened to all of us to be in a place there is no net connection.

Living and working in a place that develops exclusively from tourism we think for the tourists as tourists.

The innovation here is that we completely change the image of the standard map. The viewing angle and the building elements themselves on the map give 3D animation look. Is important to say here that we still do not “reinvent the wheel” and do not make a revolutionary discovery. We offer a visual artistic map for tourists – intuitive, precise and with clear steps.

The style in which objects are presented is isometric perspective. So it adds visual 3D volume and gives a very quick orientation – where you are at the moment and where you need to move. The isometric perspective helps to position the eye and perceive exactly where the person is in the complete image.
