I'm not sure about the point you're trying to make. Just because there have been estimated 5 billion extinctions doesn't mean we should be killing off the current ones just because people belive parts of the animal(Tiger) will make their d***s harder.

Technically true I guess but still very misleading. Earth began to support life ~3.5 billion years ago. The first human showed up 2.8 million years ago and even that was little more than a hairless ape. We truly achieved actual power only a few hundred thousand years ago. If your keeping count that's less than 1 millionth the time. Of course more than 99% of all species to ever exist are extinct without human involvement they had a ~3 billion year headstart. But you must be living under a rock to think that humanity has not lead to the extinction and endangerment of any animals which you are implying.
