Like many others, during 2020 I realized my job was not what I wanted to do every day and decided to pursue my more creative interests. I began embroidery as a way to stay sane during the stay-at-home orders and fell head over heels in love with it. Painting crept its way into my work to add a unique space and feel to each piece, and because, honestly, I missed it.

Now I live the life of the "starving" artist, while wholeheartedly pursuing the career (and the craft) that I love.

This hoop is especially cozy. I love that you paint the background, it makes your embroidered details pop and gives wonderful depth to every piece.
