“She needs to be IMMEDIATELY carried out of the polls,” netizens roared on social media.

However, a surprising revelation about the woman threw a wrench into their accusations, making the controversy super awkward for Republicans.

The controversy erupted after a photo of the election judge working at a polling site in Rogers, Minnesota, on Halloween went viral.

The woman was wearing a white T-shirt, printed with the words “Problem Solved,” and was soaked with what appeared to be fake blood.

Some conservative commentators interpreted the outfit as a celebration of the k*lling of Charlie Kirk, the conservative activist who was fatally struck on September 10.

Dustin Grage, a Minnesota-based journalist and Columnist with Townhall Media, shared a photo of the judge that went viral on X.

“A poll worker in Minnesota,” he wrote. “They just want free healthcare, guys.”

“This is illegal as a poll worker,” another said.

Some claimed it was “illegal” for the Minnesota poll worker to be wearing the blood-spattered T-shirt

The Minnesota Republican Party also posted a picture of the poll worker on Facebook but later deleted it.

The post quickly attracted attention from prominent conservative voices, with some demanding the election worker’s arrest.

“This person should be in handcuffs on federal charges. This should be the kind of decision that ruins her life. DOJ needs to be on it immediately,” said Matt Walsh, a far-right political commentator and author.

Some conservative commentators accused the woman of making light of the k*lling of Charlie Kirk, the right-wing political activist and Turning Point USA co-founder who lost his life last year.

The woman was also accused of glorifying the assassination of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk

Critics interpreted the fake blood on the poll worker’s shirt as a reference to the fatal neck wound inflicted by a rooftop sniper.

“Poll worker in MINNESOTA is mocking the assassination of Charlie Kirk with an absolutely demonic shirt,” conservative journalist Eric Daugherty wrote on X.

“THESE PEOPLE WANT TO CONTROL AMERICA,” he continued. “She needs to be IMMEDIATELY carried out of the polls, and Republicans need to keep voting, or these people will take control!”

“Speculation is that it celebrates the assassination of Charlie Kirk or other assassinations; the Halloween design has been controversial for years,” said another.

The City of Rogers issued a statement on Tuesday after the poll worker’s picture ignited a firestorm online.

The statement revealed a key fact about the judge that stumped the vocal Republicans.

“The City has been made aware of attire worn by an election judge/volunteer on Halloween that some have taken as a political statement,” read the statement.

The election judge’s political affiliation added an awkward twist to the costume controversy

Officials said they spoke to the judge/volunteer in question, and she assured them that there was “absolutely no political message or intent” behind her outfit.

“It was worn as Halloween attire, and that they would never be supportive of the apparent message that others have tied to it,” the statement said.

In order to quell the rampant concerns, the City of Rogers even stated the woman’s political leanings.

“The election judge in question has given the City permission to note that they are a Republican judge pursuant to the requirement to maintain party balance per Minnesota Statute,” the statement continued.

The shirt technically did not break Minnesota’s election laws.

Nevertheless, officials would have asked the election judge to cover it up if they had known people might interpret it as a political statement, city officials said.

“Are you trying to get her k*lled?” one asked after it was revealed she was a Republican poll worker
