I Photographed 12 Dogs In Banff National Park And Captured Their Love For Adventure
I convinced 8 dog owners to bring their dogs to the Canadian Rockies to capture their love for nature and adventure!
12 dogs were photographed over 12 hours, with over 1600 captures at 1 glorious location in Banff National Park. This location was specifically chosen for the beautiful mountain views and how dog friendly it is!
Here are some of my favorites!
A note about having dogs in Banff National Park; please keep your dog leashed for their safety and the safety of wild animals.

Not to spoil the vibe, but I am not seeing any leashes. This is a national park, where native species have at least some refuge. Those range from toads to massive bears and elk. A dog that is not perfectly trained may decide to either chase something small or register as a threat for something big enough to attack in self-defense. Then there's the damage to lichens, mosses and plants when people and dogs wander off the paths to get that perfect shot. Let go of the photo obsession and just be on the moment, with your dog on a leash. I say this as a dog guardian myself who lives beside a provincial park.

Edites to add that i appreciate you sticking up for the National parks. I am a firm believer of respecting nature. Which is why I put the note about keeping your dogs leashed. Clearly you didn't read the article. I specifically put a note about keeping your dog leashed in Banff.
