In our East end neighborhood in downtown Toronto there is a growing issue of not enough green space for the ever growing human population and their lifestyles. In the last three years I have watched 10 high rise condo buildings being built outside my window always knowing that one day our one little park would not be enough for our new Corktown population.

That day has now arrived as those 10 buildings are slowing being inhabited with our new neighbors. Whether it is families with kids, and/or their dogs there is less and less green space for us to share. It is our hope is that we can and will find a way to share what limited space we have so that all can enjoy whether we have two legs, three legs, or four!

I, with the help of some my concerned neighbors put together this shoot and campaign in hopes that we can show that our pets, are also part of our family and need to have fun as much as we do… So let’s start a conversation about how to make our small slice of Toronto welcoming to all our new neighbors, furry or not, we all need a little bit of grass to call our own.
